Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive Course on October 17th, live at Medborgskolan Mariestad

We have teamed up with Medborgskolan Mariestad and in October we are offering you a live course about the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Starting from 2024, companies will be required to report on the impact of their activities on people and the environment. It’s not just large companies—small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will also be affected. Your customers and suppliers covered by the directive may ask you to report on important topics like working conditions, circularity, and carbon emissions. It’s time to show your commitment to sustainability and become a preferred partner.

Course Content:

During this intensive one-day training programme, you will learn how to

  • Initiate CSRD preparation within your organisation
  • Ensure compliance with CSRD requirements
  • Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis and set achievable targets
  • Assess dual materiality and adopt a holistic approach to sustainability reporting
  • Create a personalised CSRD action plan for your organisation’s first project

Time is of the essence! With only six months to go until the 2024 financial year, don’t wait until it’s too late – seize the opportunity and get ahead.

From 1 January 2025, a new EU directive will apply – the CSRD Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Companies that fulfil two of the following requirements: more than 250 employees, an annual turnover exceeding €40 million or a balance sheet amounting to more than €20 million will be required to carry out mandatory sustainability reporting. Small and medium-sized enterprises will also be affected by the Directive.

The Directive means that your company will be required to report how your activities affect people and the environment. Your customers and suppliers covered by the Directive may also ask you to report on issues such as labour conditions, circularity and carbon emissions. It is through CSRD that you can demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and become a trusted business partner. By 2050, the EU wants to be climate neutral and CSRD is the game changer that will make this possible. Västra Götaland has even more ambitious goals and has the first milestones as early as 2030.
